Gold prices slashed by Tk 1925 per bhori

The Bangladesh Jeweller’s Association (BAJUS) has announced a reduction in gold prices by Tk 1,925 per bhori, citing decreased local market costs for pure gold.

Each bhori (11.664g) of 22-carat gold will now cost Tk 257,774, BAJUS said in a circular today (Feb 1).

The prices will take effect from tomorrow (Feb 2).

Earlier yesterday, BAJUS raised the price by Tk 4,082 per bhori.
