US crude oil futures rise over $1 in early Asia trade

U.S. crude futures rose ​more than $1 in ‌early Asia trade on Tuesday as ​markets assessed ​the supply outlook after ⁠Iran denied ​holding talks with ​the United States, contradicting President Donald Trump’s ​earlier claim ​that discussions were under ‌way.

U.S. ⁠West Texas Intermediate crude futures were up $1.37, or 1.6%, ​at $89.44 a ​barrel ⁠as of 2206 GMT. ​The contract ​hit ⁠a session low of $84.37 on ⁠Monday.
