Rain likely in Rangpur, Mymensingh, Sylhet

The Bangladesh Meteorological Department has forecast rain or thundershowers with gusty winds and lightning in parts of Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions.

“Rain or thundershowers accompanied by temporary gusty wind and lightning flashes are likely at one or two places in Rangpur, Mymensingh, and Sylhet divisions in the next 24 hours,” said the Met Office today (March 24).

The weather will remain mainly dry with temporary partly cloudy skies in other parts of the country.

Day and night temperatures are expected to rise slightly over most regions.

Yesterday, the highest temperature was recorded at 32.8°C in Bandarban (Chattogram division) and Jashore (Khulna division), while the lowest temperature today is 17.2°C at Rajarhat in Rangpur division.
