Noakhali Science and Technology University Launches E-Cars
Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Golam Rabbani has inaugurated two eco-friendly electronic cars (e-cars) at Noakhali Science and Technology University (NSTU) to facilitate internal transportation across the campus. The inauguration ceremony took place today (Monday, August 24, 2026) in front of the university’s administrative building.
Speaking at the event, Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Golam Rabbani described the introduction of the e-cars as a timely and environmentally responsible initiative aimed at easing movement for teachers, students, officers, and staff. He noted that the electric vehicles will operate on a continuous loop starting from the main campus circle, offering safe and convenient transit while significantly reducing carbon emissions and environmental pollution.
The Vice-Chancellor reiterated his commitment to undertaking similar green initiatives in the future to transform NSTU into a safe, eco-friendly, and student-centric campus environment.
