A Joyous Procession Held in Chattogram Under the Leadership of Ershad Hossain to Welcome the Newly Formed Central Jubo Dal Committee

A joyous rally and street gathering were held under the leadership of former Joint Secretary of Chattogram Metropolitan Jubo Dal, Ershad Hossain, to welcome the newly announced 151-member full committee of the Nationalist Jubo Dal Central Committee and to congratulate BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman, Central Jubo Dal President Monayem Munna, and General Secretary Nurul Islam Nayan.

The program took place on Thursday, June 11, at 3:00 PM. The rally, organized on behalf of Ershad Hossain, started from Amin Jute Mills Petrol Pump and passed through Aturar Depot, Sangeeta Mor, Hamzarbagh, and several important roads of the city. A brief gathering was later held in a festive atmosphere in the Bibirhat area.

Addressing the gathering as the chief guest, former Chattogram Metropolitan Jubo Dal Joint Secretary Ershad Hossain said that the announcement of the new central committee has created fresh enthusiasm and renewed hope among grassroots leaders and activists. He expressed confidence that the newly formed committee would further strengthen the grassroots organization, accelerate political movements and struggles, effectively implement all party programs, and make the organization more dynamic through united efforts.

He also stated that the new central committee would play a vital role in organizing young people and would work with dedication to uphold the party’s ideals and successfully implement its programs.

Drawing the attention of the central leadership, Ershad Hossain noted that Chattogram Metropolitan Jubo Dal has remained without a committee for the past two years. He urged the central leaders to immediately form a new metropolitan committee comprising those leaders and activists who played leading roles in the anti-autocracy movement, remained active on the streets despite facing unprecedented attacks and legal cases, and sacrificed themselves for the interests of the party after proper evaluation and verification.
