Bangladesh ‘A’ won by 8 wickets 39 balls remaining

Bangladesh ‘A’ team has snatched a one-sided victory against Afghanistan ‘A’ team in the Asia Cup Rising Stars tournament by 8 wickets. The Afghans were all out for just 78 runs due to the combined efforts of the bowlers. In reply, the Tigers reached the target of victory with 39 balls remaining in their hands.

Hero of the match and Player of the Match: Ripon Mondal::

Pacer Ripon Mondal was the main architect of Afghanistan’s low runs. His excellent controlled bowling destroyed the Afghan batting lineup. Ripon took 3 valuable wickets for just 10 runs in his 4-over spell. He was adjudged ‘Player of the Match’ for this outstanding bowling performance.

Abrar-Ankan’s reliable pair::

After losing the openers quickly in pursuit of an easy target, Jawad Abrar and Mahedul Islam Ankan took charge of the innings. The two young batsmen started the game with a cool head and built a crucial 50-run (over fifty) unbeaten partnership to ensure the team’s victory. With their responsible batting, Bangladesh took the match into their own pocket without any risk.
