Bangladesh coach and captain vote for FIFA The Best

The ‘FIFA The Best’ ceremony will be held in Doha, Qatar on Tuesday (December 16) amid a grand ceremony. Although awards were given in 12 categories, all eyes were on who would be the best male footballer of the year. PSG’s Ousmane Dembele was elected the best footballer of the year by the FIFA-elected national team captain, coach, media representatives from various countries and fans.

Dembele was elected the best footballer of the year by FIFA, leaving behind Mbappe and Yamal. The coaches and captains voted for him to be selected as ‘FIFA The Best’. Bangladesh coach Javier Cabrera and Bangladesh team media representative Rezwan Uz Zaman voted for Dembele.

Meanwhile, Bangladesh football team captain Jamal Bhuiyan first voted for PSG’s Vitinha. Then his vote fell on Dembele and Yamal.

Argentina captain Lionel Messi, who recently toured India, also contributed to FIFA The Best. Messi voted for Dembele as the FIFA Best Player of the Year. Mbappe and Yamal were next.

Dembele’s club teammate Marquinhos voted for Dembele first, followed by Rafinha and Hakimi.
