Barisal sets Rajshahi target of 246 runs

Barisal sets Rajshahi Division target of 246 runs in the third round match of the National Cricket League. Rajshahi achieved this target when Barisal was all out for 268 runs in their second innings on Monday (November 10) on the third day of the match.

In reply, Rajshahi Division ended the day with 5 runs without losing any wickets. They will need to score 241 more runs to win on the last day on Tuesday (November 11).

After falling behind in the first innings, Barisal came out to bat in the second innings and scored 268 runs. Fazle Mahmud Rabbi was the only one to score a fifty-plus innings. He scored 69 runs with the help of 6 boundaries in 136 balls.

Among the other batsmen, Moin Khan scored 40, Tasamul Haque 39, Shamsur Rahman Shuvo 32 runs. Ali Mohammad Walid took 3 wickets for Rajshahi Division. Rahim Ahmed, Sanjamul Islam and Sabbir Hossain took 2 wickets each.

Earlier, Barisal scored 212 runs in the first innings. In reply, Rajshahi Division collected 235 runs in their first innings. Pritam Kumar scored 65 runs. Captain Tanvir Islam took 5 wickets for Barisal. Yasin Arafat Mishu took 3 wickets and Ruel Mia took 2 wickets.
