After falling for 3 consecutive periods, the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) has decided to increase the price of gold in the country’s market again. This time, the organization has increased the price of a 22-carat Bhori by 5,424 taka, setting the price of this precious metal at 2,51,184 taka.
BAJUS gave this information in a notification on Tuesday (February 3) morning. The new price will be effective from 10:30 am today.
The notification said that the price of pure gold (acid gold) has increased in the local market. As a result, the new price of gold has been determined considering the overall situation.
