Upazila Administration Launches Free Training in Raipur

The Raipur Upazila Administration in Lakshmipur has launched a free two-month-long training course on Digital Marketing, in a first-of-its-kind initiative to create employment opportunities for unemployed youth.

Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Mehedi Hasan Kauchar formally inaugurated the training program on Wednesday (June 10, 2026) at the Upazila Parishad auditorium.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the UNO emphasized the transformative potential of the program. “If the trainees complete this course diligently, they will be equipped to earn a living as freelancers or digital entrepreneurs. This will not only make them self-reliant but will also play a vital role in reducing local unemployment and generating new job opportunities,” he said.

According to the organizers, 50 unemployed young men and women from across the upazila are participating in this debut training batch. To further extend this benefit to local youth, the organizers announced that another fully free two-month training course will be launched in the upazila very soon.
