BPC orders direct fuel supply to registered customers to ensure smooth distribution

Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation has ordered its marketing companies to supply fuel oil directly to registered customers to maintain uninterrupted fuel distribution across the country.

“Necessary instructions have been given to the marketing companies under BPC to ensure direct supply of fuel oil to registered customers,” said a press release issued today (March 11) by Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation in Dhaka.

The release said fuel shipments are being brought into the country regularly according to the import schedule.

At the same time, fuel oil is being transported from the main facilities to different depots across the country through rail waggons and tankers.

BPC said the supply process is continuing to ensure smooth distribution of fuel across the country.

The corporation has directed the marketing companies under its supervision to strictly follow the instructions and maintain an uninterrupted supply.

The companies operating under BPC include Eastern Refinery Limited, Padma Oil Company Limited, Meghna Petroleum Limited, Jamuna Oil Company Limited, Eastern Lubricants Blenders PLC, LP Gas Limited, Standard Asiatic Oil Company Limited and Petroleum Transmission Company PLC.

Authorities said these measures are aimed at maintaining stable fuel distribution across the country.
