MVT Summit 2026: Chattogram to Host Flagship Medical Tourism Conference

Press Release

Chattogram is set to host the region’s largest healthcare conference, the “Medical Value Travel – MVT Summit 2026,” at The Peninsula Chittagong on November 14, 2026. Organized by the Chattogram Medical Travel Forum (CMTF), the flagship event aims to revolutionize the local medical tourism and healthcare sectors while establishing robust international networks.

The official outline, strategic roadmap and core objectives of the summit were presented during a press conference held at ‘The Pavilion’ restaurant in GEC Circle of Chattogram today (Sunday, October 4, 2026). Leaders of the CMTF present at the briefing included President Mohammad Abdul Alim Raju, Vice President Nurul Anwar Jibon, Vice President (International Relations) Dawood Arman, General Secretary Alauddin Manik and Joint General Secretary Omar Sharif.

Addressing the media, CMTF leaders noted that a significant number of patients from the Chattogram region travel domestically and abroad annually for specialized care. The upcoming summit will create direct engagement opportunities between local medical communities and renowned international hospitals, physicians and health organizations, raising local standards and facilitating transparent access to global medical care.

The day-long mega summit will convene healthcare entrepreneurs, medical experts and institutional representatives from Bangladesh, Thailand, China, Malaysia and India. The program itinerary features B2B networking sessions, policy panel discussions and technical workshops on modern healthcare dynamics. The organizers confirmed that entry and registration for general visitors and healthcare seekers will be entirely free of cost.
