The severe shortage of classroom furniture at Aiyub Nagar Non-Government Primary School and Fatema Nagar Junior High School in Panchhari Upazila has been resolved through the proactive intervention of Member of Parliament Wadud Bhuiyan. Addressing the long-standing crisis that hampered smooth educational activities, the MP facilitated the procurement and delivery of essential furniture through the Chittagong Hill Tracts (CHT) Development Board.
On behalf of MP Wadud Bhuiyan, local leaders officially handed over the supplies to the authorities of both schools on Monday (August 10, 2026). The ceremony was attended by Panchhari Upazila BNP President Md. Belal Hossain, Senior Vice President Md. Sirajul Islam, and General Secretary Md. Yusuf Ali, among other local representatives.
The distributed materials included 90 pairs of benches (45 pairs per school), 9 teachers’ tables, 8 pairs of chairs, and 3 steel almirahs. Following the arrival and arrangement of the new furniture, the classrooms underwent an immediate transformation, vastly improving the learning environment for both students and teachers. School authorities and local guardians expressed deep gratitude to the MP and the CHT Development Board for restoring a proper educational atmosphere in the remote region.
