Bangladesh Army Provides Financial Aid in Dighinala Ahead of Biju Festival

DIGHINALA, KHAGRACHARI:
In a gesture of communal harmony and festive support, the Bangladesh Army has provided financial assistance to various social organizations in Dighinala upazila on the occasion of Chaitra Sankranti and the Biju Festival. The grants were distributed today during a formal ceremony held at the 4 East Bengal (4 EB) headquarters in the Dighinala Zone.

Zone Commander Lieutenant Colonel Mohammad Al Amin officially handed over the financial aid to nine social organizations. During the event, he reaffirmed the Army’s steadfast commitment to maintaining peace and supporting the traditional cultural festivities of the local ethnic communities in the hilly regions.

The ceremony was attended by Deputy Zone Commander Major Shihabun Sakib Rushad, Captain Abdullah Al Azmi, Master Warrant Officer Md. Joynul Abedin and Kabakhali Union Parishad Chairman Knowledge Chakma Gyan, among others.

The initiative is part of the Bangladesh Army’s ongoing efforts to foster social cohesion and celebrate the diverse cultural heritage of the Chittagong Hill Tracts.
