Bangladeshi medical tourism agency MediAider signed a bilateral memorandum of understanding (MoU) with India’s Chennai-based SRM Prime Hospital on Thursday evening (October 8, 2026) at a hotel in the capital, aiming to streamline and enhance medical travel processes for Bangladeshi patients seeking advanced care abroad.
The agreement was executed by Chief Executive Officer of SRM Prime Hospital Siva P. and Chief Executive Officer of MediAider Shabbir Ahmed Tamim. Marketing Director of SRM Prime Hospital Silva Ramasamy was also present at the ceremony.
During the signing, representatives from both entities expressed a shared commitment to improving healthcare access, providing quality medical consultations, and ensuring prompt, high-standard treatment for Bangladeshi patients.
SRM Prime Hospital is a modern 300-bed multi-specialty facility located in Chennai, India, featuring over 75 specialized ICU beds and seven state-of-the-art modular operation theaters.
