CMP Holds ‘Open House Day’

Addl. Commissioner Orders Immediate Action on Public Grievances

The pre-scheduled ‘Open House Day’ of the Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) was held today, July 14, 2026, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the CMP Conference Hall in Dampara of the city. The open forum drew a diverse crowd of service seekers from various professions who came forward to share their grievances, suggestions and community issues. Additional Commissioner of Police (Administration & Finance) Wahidul Haque Chowdhury patiently listened to the accounts of the attending citizens.

Upon hearing the various complaints and operational challenges raised by the public, the Additional Police Commissioner issued immediate directives to the respective police officials present to take prompt legal action. Several service seekers expressed deep satisfaction after receiving instantaneous solutions to their long-standing issues on the spot. Other attendees put forward constructive suggestions to improve metropolitan policing and extended their heartfelt gratitude to the CMP Commissioner for organizing such a humanitarian and citizen-friendly initiative.

The high-level public interaction session was also attended by Additional Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Hossain Mohammad Kabir Bhuiyan and Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic-North) Nesar Uddin Ahmed, along with other senior top-ranking officials of the Chittagong Metropolitan Police.
