Gleneagles Hospital Chennai, in collaboration with the Bangladesh Medical Tourism Association (BMTA), organized an informative session on advanced cancer treatment in Dhaka on July 28, 2026. Held at the Hotel Omni Residency in Banani, the event focused on the latest developments in oncology and cutting-edge treatment techniques designed to enhance patient outcomes.
The session was led by renowned cancer specialist Dr. Balaji Ramani, Director of the Institute of Cancer at Gleneagles Hospital Chennai. During his address, Dr. Ramani highlighted recent breakthroughs in cancer care, modern diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, and innovative treatment methodologies that are transforming oncology worldwide.
The event saw active participation from key representatives of both organizations. Prominent attendees included Mr. Shomnath Shetty, Vice President of Gleneagles Hospital; Mr. Shushovan Roy Chowdhury, representative for Gleneagles Hospital Chennai; along with BMTA Vice President Shabbir Ahmad Tamim and Secretary General A.K.M.
