Sonali Bank PLC organized a colorful rally and promotional campaign in Feni, to promote the use of the universal transaction system ‘Bangla QR’ and raise awareness as part of building a cashless Bangladesh. Organized by the Principal Office of Sonali Bank PLC, Feni, the special event took place on Tuesday afternoon. The formal inauguration of the campaign and rally was led by the chief guest, Deputy General Manager of Sonali Bank PLC, Principal Office, Feni, Mohammad Khairul Anam Bhuiyan.

Prominent bank officials in attendance included Assistant General Managers Priyabrata Biswas, Md. Ali Mahmud, and Md. Noman Siddique, alongside various branch heads, officers, and staff from the Feni region who actively participated in the program. The promotional rally commenced from the premises of the Sonali Bank Feni Branch on Mizan Road, traversed the main thoroughfares of Feni town, and concluded back at the starting point in front of the branch.

Following the rally, bank officials conducted an interactive campaign where they distributed leaflets explaining the easy methods and numerous benefits of using ‘Bangla QR’ to local business owners, shopkeepers, and pedestrians. Additionally, the representatives provided live demonstrations to customers, walking them through the step-by-step process of completing cashless digital transactions on the spot.
