The price of 22-carat gold has been increased by Tk 3,266 per bhori, the Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) has announced.
BAJUS announced the price hike today (March 31), which it called a readjustment of the prices considering a rise in the price of pure gold in the local market.
The new prices took effect from 10am today.
Each bhori (11.664g) of 22-carat gold will now cost Tk 244,711.
A bhori of 21-carat gold will cost Tk 233,572, while the price of 18-carat gold has been raised to Tk 200,213.
