A reception ceremony was held at the Raipur Upazila Auditorium on Wednesday afternoon to honor 150 students who achieved GPA-5 in the SSC examinations. The event was organized by the Raipur Upazila Chhatra Dal to celebrate and inspire local academic excellence.

Member of Parliament for Lakshmipur-2 (Raipur) Abul Khair Bhuiyan attended as the chief guest, while Raipur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mehdi Hasan Kausar joined as the special guest. The ceremony was also attended by Upazila Chhatra Dal Convener Mahfuzur Rahman Hridoy, Member Secretary Abdullah Al Noman, local leaders, teachers, guardians and students.

Addressing the audience, speakers highlighted that students represent the future of the nation, emphasizing the importance of hard work, continuous learning and strong moral values. They urged the high achievers to look beyond academic success and strive to become responsible citizens committed to serving society.

During the program, all 150 GPA-5 recipients were awarded crests, certificates and books in a vibrant and festive atmosphere. Expressing gratitude to the organizers, the students noted that such recognition encourages them to pursue even greater academic goals.
