The Rajapur Swapnajatra Foundation hosted a reception ceremony at the Rajapur College Auditorium on Monday afternoon (August 31, 2026) to honor meritorious students who achieved GPA-5 in the SSC examinations. Acting Principal of Rajapur College, Mostafa Zaman, presided over the event.
The ceremony was attended by key local educators, journalists, and community figures. Acting Headmaster of Rajapur High School Nizam Uddin, Rajapur College Lecturers Abdul Haiyum, Iqbal Hossain, and Abu Naser, alongside Beacon College Lecturer and Deepto TV Feni Correspondent Abdullah Al-Mamun, and Co-Founder of Swapnajatra Foundation and Rajapur Union Parishad Member Mujahidul Islam Salim joined as special guests. Daily Sun Daganbhuiyan Correspondent and Principal of Bikiron Kindergarten Mohammad Zakir Hossain, and Madrasa Teacher Abdul Gafur were also present as guests. Rajapur High School Teacher Zakir Hossain moderated the event, while GPA-5 recipients Sumaiya Akter Surovi from Rajapur High School and Prema Rani Das from Batshiri High School delivered speeches on behalf of the students.
During the program, the Swapnajatra Foundation presented crests and honors to 25 GPA-5 achievers in the presence of teachers, parents, students, and local dignitaries.
Addressing the audience, speakers emphasized that celebrating academic brilliance must go hand in hand with fostering moral, ethical, and civic responsibility. They commended the Swapnajatra Foundation for its ongoing social and humanitarian initiatives, including distributing books, assisting impoverished communities, and standing by flood victims, expressing hope that such welfare activities will continue. Encouraging the students to combine academic excellence with patriotism and empathy, the speakers highlighted that recognizing student achievements inspires future generations to contribute meaningfully to society and the nation.
